"X" for the British / Irish broadcasters guarantees a LIVE game during the marked times. Re-scheduled games which end up being played Mid-Week may only be broadcast if they were initially intended for broadcast during regular weekend time slots. This does not affect scheduled Mid-Week broadcasts.

"XA" for non-British broadcasters means that scheduled games during the marked time slots are broadcast live ALWAYS.
"XA+1" - is as above but indicates that more than one game is broadcast at the same time on a sister channel.

"XM" for non-British broadcasters means that scheduled games during the marked time slots are broadcast live MOST of the time.
"XM+1" - is as above but indicates that more than one game is broadcast MOST of the time at the same time on a sister channel.

"XS" - for non-British broadcasters means that scheduled games during the marked time slots are broadcast live SOMETIMES.

Note: Games re-scheduled that were initially intended for 3pm broadcast on a Saturday tend to be moved to the same time on a Sunday. This mainly occurs when teams are involved in UEFA competition the previous Thursday night. Very few broadcasters can cater for this change especially if they have committed to the two standard Sunday game time slots, which clash with a 3pm game.

It has to be said. ALWAYS will generally mean 99% of the time. There is always chance that a game somewhere slips through the system because of other LIVE sporting events on a particular day.

MOST of the time will generally mean 90% of the time. This is usually to do with the issue of how many games a particular channel has paid to broadcast live or there can be other "political" reasons why a broadcaster fails to show a live game.

SOMETIMES generally means that although a broadcaster has rights to show a live game, they may be limited to two or three a week in total which results in erratic time slots be chosen.
